Amell Apologizes, Says Arrow’s New Time Slot Means No ‘Full Bum’ Shots
When Arrow returns to The CW in the fall, it will find itself on a new night and time, with Season 7 premiering Monday, October 15 at 8 pm. With the change comes certain elements of the series that will no longer be appropriate for the new time slot, most notably Stephen Amell’s posterior.
The Arrow star referenced this body part in a Twitter post, where he said, “Would have appreciated a heads up that Arrow is moving back to 8 pm before I reeled off 8,000 squats in anticipation of showing my full bum on television.”

Amell is known for his rigorous workout routine to stay in shape for the role of Oliver Queen, the Green Arrow.
The CW recently revealed its fall premiere slate, with Arrow now being paired with DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Season 7 of the DC superhero show will find Oliver in a supermax prison with many of the same criminals he helped put behind bars, after he revealed his identity as the Green Arrow to the world.
Returning to The CW on Monday, October 15 at 8 pm ET/PT, Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, Rick Gonzalez as Wild Dog, Echo Kellum as Mr. Terrific, Juliana Harkavy as Black Canary and Katie Cassidy as Black Siren.
