Arrowverse Crossover to Debut Lois Lane
The debut of Ruby Rose’s Batwoman is undoubtedly one of the big reasons the Arrowverse’s latest crossover is such a highly-anticipated event. However, there’s more. In fact, there’s now a whole lot more.
TV Line has just been confirmed that the December-bound crossover will also feature the long-awaited introduction of Lois Lane, as well as the return of Tyle Hoechlin’s Clark Kent/Superman.
While there is no official casting for Lois Lane yet, the debut of the character in the Arrowverse is in and of itself a big deal. The character has been mentioned on Supergirl ever since the series’ first season, and the character is easily one of the biggest and most important in the DC pantheon.

In a joint statement, Supergirl producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner said “We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse. This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters.”
The return of Hoechlin’s Superman — who was last seen in the Season 2 finale of Supergirl — is also one that fans have been waiting for for a very long time. On top of that, the fact the he is now an official part of the crossover means there is a strong possibility that fans will get to see Superman interact with Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow and Grant Gustin’s Scarlet Speedster on the small screen.
It was recently announced that John Wick: Chapter 2 and Megalodon actress Ruby Rose had been cast in the role of Batwoman, who is set to debut in the upcoming crossover before potentially headlining her own solo television series. With the added presence of Lois Lane and Superman, the crossover, which will unfold over episodes of Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl (but not Legends of Tomorrow), has now become the Arrowverse’s biggest undertaking yet. Fans of DC Comics will surely not want to miss out. If anything, this could even rival Warner Bros.’ Justice League film in terms of scope.
