Brooklyn Nine-Nine Episode Order Expanded at NBC
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is looking to make its transition to NBC for its sixth season even bigger than originally anticipated.
The network, which picked up the critically acclaimed police sitcom after it was dropped by its original network Fox in May, has increased its episode order for Season 6 by five episodes. This brings the total episode count for the upcoming season to 18 episodes from its initial 13 episode order.

Fox had cancelled the fan-favorite comedy series in May following the conclusion of its fifth season leading the show being shopped around to other networks and platforms for renewal. Less than a week after its initial cancellation, NBC picked up the comedy for a midseason debut following an outpouring of fan support.
While the official premiere date for Season 6 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine has yet to be announced, it is expected to return sometime in the middle of the 2019-2019 television season.

Created in 2013 by Dan Goor and Parks and Recreation‘s Michael Schur, Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Stephanie Beatriz, Chelsea Peretti, Joe Lo Truglio, Terry Crews, Dirk Blocker, and Joel McKinnon Miller. It is expected to return sometime in early 2019 for its sixth season on NBC.
