Captain Marvel Meets GLOW in This ‘Alison Brie Larson’ Training Photo

Brie Larson, who will star as the titular character in Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel, has uploaded a photo of herself to Twitter weight training alongside fellow actress Alison Brie.

The photo is accompanied by the clever caption, “ALISON BRIE LARSON is coming for ya.”

Brie Larson may be set to take center stage as Marvel Studios’ first solo female lead, but Alison Brie has also made some major waves in the world of entertainment as of late. Currently, Brie has a lead role in the Netflix original series GLOW as professional wrestler Ruth Wilder, aka Zoya the Destroya. Many fans will likely also know Brie from her time playing the character of Annie Edison in the hit comedy Community.

In other words, it seems that while Brie Larson is training to save the world (and eventually take on Thanos) as Carol Danvers, Alison Brie is certainly doing her part to up her game as well as she once again prepares to enter the squared circle as Zoya when GLOW returns for its third season.

The film arrives March 8, 2019.

GLOW season 1 and season 2 are currently available on Netflix. The show was renewed for season 3 on Aug. 20.
