GLOW Season 2 Trailer Warns ‘Everything Is Going to Be Hard’

The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling are back and bigger and badder than ever.

Ahead of the Season 2 premiere at the end of the month, Netflix has released a new trailer for the upcoming season with Ruth (Alison Brie), Debbie (Betty Gilpin) and the rest of the ladies of Glow poised for their comeback. With the characters returning for a new season of wrestling, they must deal with their newfound fame while navigating their own increasingly complicated personal relationships.

“Everything is going to be hard,” declares Debbie when the ladies learn that their time slot is being replaced by a rival men’s wrestling show after Ruth is approached by a slimy television executive. Despite the shock news, the ladies are more committed than ever with even more audacious outfits, even more gravity-defying moves and even more hairspray.

Debuting June 2017, Glow was created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, who also executive produce the series with Orange Is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan. The series follows struggling actors in 1980s Los Angeles who begin a low-budget wrestling television series and dive headfirst into the world of professional wrestling. Netflix officially renewed the series for a second season last August.

Starring Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin and Marc Maron, Glow is set to return for its second season on June 29 on Netflix.
