If You Don't Love the Halloween Episodes of Sabrina, You Don't Deserve to Celebrate Halloween

I'm going to say this just once: if you don't love and appreciate the Halloween episodes of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, you don't deserve to celebrate Halloween. I'm serious. There was a holiday-themed episode during six of the sitcom's seven seasons, ranging from Sabrina Spellman's initial introduction into the importance of Halloween in her family to a creepy encounter with a talking doll. Here, we pay homage to the show's hallowed Halloween episodes.

Halloween is the most important holiday in the Spellman crew, and each year there's a big family gathering. Sabrina doesn't want to go (because Harvey Kinkle is having a big party), so Salem tells her about a spell that will create a clone to go to the family affair for her. Unfortunately, the clone only knows how to say three phrases and will pretty much do anything anyone suggests — including streaking through Harvey's backyard. Meanwhile, the real Sabrina learns that on Halloween, she can talk to a loved one who has died, so she connects with her beloved grandmother for one hour.

2. "A River of Candy Corn Runs Through It," Season 2

Libby brags about her upcoming Halloween party (and of course doesn't invite Sabrina and her BFF Valerie), so Valerie announces that Sabrina's throwing "an even cooler party" at her house. Much to Sabrina's chagrin, her aunts are stoked about throwing a Halloween bash, but once the Spellmans' new furniture starts talking, Hilda makes too much candy corn, and a group of Halloween carolers from the Other Realm stop by, Sabrina is convinced the party will be ruined. On the contrary, her classmates think all the effects are fake (and amazing!), and she ends up looking like the best party host ever. Oh, and the band 10,000 Maniacs performs, which is just so perfectly '90s.

3. "Good Will Haunting," Season 3

Sabrina's crazy Aunt Beulah is given an evil doll named Molly Dolly as punishment for not attending her big Halloween party. The doll unsurprisingly starts terrorizing Sabrina and her friends. Meanwhile, Hilda and Zelda, who did go to the party, end up being trapped at the event, which is taking place in an insane asylum.

4. "Episode LXXXI: The Phantom Menace," Season 4 Episode-LXXXI-Phantom-Menace-Season-4.jpg

Sabrina decides that she's too old to celebrate Halloween and instead chooses to work the night shift at her new barista job, something her aunts aren't really cool with; you can't escape Halloween when you're a witch, girl! Like Hilda and Zelda predict, a group of zombies show up and trap Sabrina in the coffee house. Meanwhile, her aunts have Edgar Allen Poe over for a Halloween dinner.

5. "The Halloween Scene," Season 5

Even though Sabrina is now in college and living in her own apartment with roommates, she decides to throw a Halloween party at Hilda and Zelda's house since they'll be out of town. The idea backfires when she's tasked with repairing the relationship between Frankenstein and the Bride of Frankenstein, who are having trouble in their marriage.

6. "Murder on the Halloween Express," Season 6 Murder-Halloween-Express-Season-6.jpg

Sabrina drags her friends aboard the Mystery Train for an adventure on Halloween, but it ends up being an Other Realm train (of course), and 1920s-inspired hijinks ensue. If Sabrina doesn't solve the mystery, the exact events will happen to her mortal pals over and over for the rest of time.
