Jack Ryan Season 2 Casts Noomi Rapace as Series Regular
Noomi Rapace will be the co-lead in the second season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. Rapace’s casting was announced at the Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego by the series’ executive producer and co-showrunner Carlton Cuse.
Rapace will play Harriet “Harry” Baumann, a member of the BND, Germany’s secret intelligence agency. Rapace’s Baumann will cross paths with Jack Ryan (John Krasinski) while he is in South America. Cuse revealed that Baumann is a “very formidable person,” and that the second season of the show “is a political thriller set in South America.”
