Lucifer Picked Up By Netflix Following Cancellation

Lucifer is getting a second chance. The series, which was cancelled by Fox, has been picked up by Netflix.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lucifer has landed at the streaming giant for its fourth season. At the time of writing, it is unclear how many episodes Netflix has ordered for Season 4 or if the series will continue beyond that point.

Cancelled in March, the supernatural police procedural flirted with a few other outlets before arriving at Netflix. Though Amazon Studios was in talks to pick up the series, it seems they ultimately passed, allowing Netflix to swoop in and save it.
