Meghan Markle Wore a Black Gabriela Hearst Dress to Government House in New Zealand
After touching down in New Zealand earlier today, Meghan Markle went straight to work for her and Prince Harry's final stop of their 16-day royal tour.
The Duchess appeared at the Government House in Wellington, where she delivered an empowering speech to celebrate 125 years of women's suffrage and attended a reception afterwards in a chic black Gabriela Hearst dress. The dress is the latest in a streak of sustainable fashion worn by Meghan.
During her speech, Meghan praised the efforts of women in New Zealand for the right to vote and reflected on the importance of feminism and human rights. At the reception, Meghan and Harry were greeted by Leader of the Opposition Simon Bridges and his wife Natalie Bridges.
Great speech from Duchess of Sussex tonight at 125th anniversary of women’s sufferage in New Zealand. A subject close to Meghan’s heart & a third speech delivered with aplomb and written totally by her. Top job, listened to by a female PM & female G-G. Full speech
