Taraji P. Henson Is Cursed With the Ability to Hear What Men Are Thinking in New Comedy
If you're a fan of Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt's 2000 rom-com What Women Want, then get ready for a very special treat courtesy of Taraji P. Henson. The Empire actress is starring in a remake of the film, only this time, her successful sports agent character Ali ends up hearing what men want after a drunken accident. (Can you guess the movie's title?) (It's What Men Want, come on now, guys.) "Blessed" with her newfound "gift," Ali finally has the chance to climb the ladder at her company, where she's always been excluded by her male colleagues, as well as helping things along with a new love interest (Aldis Hodge). The Adam Shankman-directed comedy also stars Tracy Morgan, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Josh Brener, Tamala Jones, Phoebe Robinson, Max Greenfield, and Erykah Badu and hits theaters on Jan. 11.
