The Big Bang Theory Cast Performed Their Final Flash Mob, and It Was "Larger Than Life"
As the end of The Big Bang Theory draws closer, the cast is making the most out of their final moments together. The crew has a history of surprising the studio audience with flash mobs over the last 12 years, but their latest one is truly larger than life. On Wednesday, Kaley Cuoco shared a video of the cast's final flash mob, which was set to none other than the Backstreet Boys' "Larger Than Life." "One of my favorite moments in 12 years," she wrote alongside a video featuring Jim Parsons, Mayim Bialik, Melissa Rauch, Kunal Nayyar, and Simon Helberg. "I told you we would go out with a bang!!" Unfortunately, Johnny Galecki couldn't participate because of his ankle injury, but he did make sure to cheer on his costars from the sidelines.
The beloved show — which is one of the longest-running staples of network TV — will likely come to an end in May this year. While the official date has yet to be announced, the reason for the show ending reportedly came down to Parsons's decision to step away. "There is no negative reason to stop doing Big Bang," Parsons previously told Entertainment Weekly. "It felt like we have been able to do this for so many years now, it doesn't feel like there is anything left on the table. Not that we couldn't keep doing it, but it feels like we've chewed all the meat off this bone. I guess at a personal level, it feels like the right time in my life." Well, at least we'll always have these hilarious Sheldon Cooper moments to remember the show by.
