Wayward Sisters Will Return in Supernatural Season 14
The Supernatural spin-off Wayward Sisters might not have been picked up by the CW, but that doesn’t mean audiences have seen the last of Sheriff Jody Mills and her surrogate daughters Claire and Alex.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Andrew Dabb explains that all the Wayward women will be making appearances in the upcoming season of Supernatural — and a lot of the questions left from Wayward Sisters’ backdoor pilot last season will be answered.
“All of the characters are going to make their return one way or the other,” said Dabb. “We found a way to fold [them] organically into the plot line, and some of the hanging chads from the pilot last year ended up dovetailing nicely with some of the stuff Michael’s looking to do, and some of the stuff that’s going on in our world just generally. It all folds together pretty well, but they’ll definitely be in multiple episodes this season.”

Wayward Sisters was the second attempt at a Supernatural spin-off since 2014, following Bloodlines, and the second not to make it to air despite seemingly positive feedback and interest from fans.
The CW passed on the show in May, with president Mark Pedowitz stating that Wayward Sisters “just didn’t get there.”
