Zendaya Is the New Face of Tommy Hilfiger
Earlier this year, Tommy Hilfiger and Gigi Hadid took their final bow, as they unveiled the fourth and final capsule collection of their Tommy x Gigi partnership. Now, Hilfiger is revving up for a new season and has his sights set on a new fashion darling to help boost his appeal among millennials: Zendaya, who will serve as the new women's global ambassador of Tommy Hilfiger.
As the new face and brand ambassador, Zendaya will star in the Spring 2019 campaign and co-design a capsule collection that salutes the Tommy Hilfiger Americana aesthetic while "celebrating self expression, individuality and empowerment," which will debut as a see-now-by-now collection in February 2019.

"I love to collaborate with people who are passionate about making their dreams a reality and who inspire the next generation to do the same," said Tommy Hilfiger. “Zendaya has become a global icon, using fashion to make bold statements while always staying true to herself. Our capsule collection will fuse her eclectic style with the Americana spirit of our brand.”
Zendaya, who has become a red carpet favorite with the help of self-described "image architect" Law Roach, believes that “fashion is more than just wearing cool clothes,” she said in a statement. “It’s a way to celebrate self-expression and individuality, which is extremely empowering. This is why I am proud to partner with Tommy Hilfiger.” And the Spiderman: Homecoming star is no amateur when it comes to landing major fashion gigs, having fronted campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana and CoverGirl, designed a collection for Boohoo and launched her own eponymous label, Daya by Zendaya in 2016.
The Tommy x Zendaya collection follows four successful seasons of Hilfiger's Tommy x Gigi collaboration, which debuted in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Milan, with themes that ranged from rock and roll and nautical to the motorsport-inspired range that punctuated the Tommy x Gigi team-up at Milan Fashion Week in February.
